Hi everybody,
I slept really well last night. It was a little chilly and stayed dark this morning because of the clouds and the rain. We just hung around this morning, played, watched some Sesame Street, colored (Deeda and me) and then I took a morning bath!!!
But all of that was exhausting! Meema had a lunch date, so Deeda and I took a nap. It felt great to sleep and Deeda had to wake me up because he had to get a haircut. So he took me to a really cool place with lots of lights (Tower Oaks!) where I met Meema's friends and had a snack. Someone was having a birthday party so I got to see a lot of balloons. Then Meema and I went to Target - I was so excited I squealed through the store!! We found some really cool cars and some new socks.
At LBD, Deeda was waiting for us. We colored some more and then it was time for another meal!! This time we had avocado, peaches, more rice, and cheese. I ate everything and THEN Meema gave me 2 pretzels for dessert. I was so happy I laughed.
Even thought it was a cloudy day we did go on the deck for a little bit. We saw birds, lots of trees and leaves AND the hummingbird feeder - but no hummingbirds!
Deeda got a big yellow crate full of blocks. He said they belonged to my Uncle Eric!! So I thought, "this looks like a great crate". I dumped all the blocks and decided to use it as my seat. I even invited Elmo and Big Bird to join me. I think this was a good thing because Meema & Deeda laughed and ran to get their cameras!
I had a delicious bottle in and then did spins and jumped and fell and acted crazy!!! But at 8:00 p.m. I got in my crib and said "bye bye".
